Adult Glass Fusing Pendant Workshop
Thurs. February 7th @ 6:30. approximately 2 hours, all materials provided except for safety goggles/glasses. (required) Limited to 8 students. You will create your own design and this masterpiece will be fired to make a pin or pendent that could retail for the cost of the class or more. This is an exciting opportunity to use your imagination. Intro/beginner class.
Beginner Pottery Wheel
Book a 1/2 hour private lesson or join our 6 student class for a 2 hour workshop. The instructor is patient and assists in guiding the student to create a couple pieces that will then be fired. Cost of the class includes first firing. $30.00/30 minute private or $40.00 for the 2 hour workshop. Clay included. Registration required
Toddler Art Time (TAT class)
Beginning Wednesday mornings in Mid October .—5 weeks of creativity for the toddlers and their adult. Kiln Time staff will guide and assist parents in allowing the toddler to create and explore without stifling there imagination. We will do 5 different projects including Canvas "finger flowers", wood project painting and craftstick frames,Fabric Pillow Painting and some other creative crafts. The 5-week course will be from 10am–11:00am. $90.00 for the course or you may take individual classes at $20.00 per class. Registration preferred by Oct. 6, ages 3 and up are preferred but depends on the parents willing to assist. Class size limited to 8 toddlers with adult and there is a minimum of 6 per class.
Are You Bored with this cold?
Grab a bottle of wine a couple of friends and get together for some fun at kiln time. We reserve adult only evenings for a group of 6 or more. Its alot of fun and breaks up the boredom of winter. Come and create with friends. It easier than you think and no artistic ability is needed. Use stamps or copy with carbon but add a touch of yourself in your project!
Rent Time on Our Pottery Wheel
We will be renting time on the pottery wheel to customers who have taken some pottery wheel classes in life. They either must prove they have experience on the wheel or take the intro to wheel at kiln time. Clay can be purchased as well as firing time. This is to begin mid February.
Kids Clay Classes
Begins on October 20th and is from 3:30pm to 5:30pm. Ages 7 and up will use clay to create coil pots, ornaments, and begin to experiment with the wheel. Limited to 10 students. Call for pricing and to preregister.
